📝Overview

MIDAS Morning: Exploring Earth Retention Systems” is a focused half-day workshop designed to enhance participants’ understanding of geotechnical modeling using MIDAS GTS NX.

The session will delve into the analysis and design of earth retention systems such as sheet pile walls, secant pile walls, and diaphragm walls, highlighting best practices in numerical modeling, analysis, and result interpretation.
Through live demonstrations, case discussions, and interactive knowledge sharing, attendees will gain practical insights into using MIDAS GTS NX for efficient and reliable workflows followed by a networking lunch.

🎯Agenda
  • 1.

🔹Overview of Modelling Methodologies - Comparative exploration of modelling approaches for various retention systems and surrounding soil conditions

  • 2.

🔹Load Application and Construction Sequence Simulation - Step-by-step simulation of staged construction and load application

  • 3.

🔹Analysis and Result Interpretation - Evaluation of analysis outputs, performance assessment, and key insights
