Anthony Vijaya Sekaran
Founder and Lead Technical Consultant of Sekaran Technical Services

Anthony Vijaya Sekaran is the Founder and Lead Technical Consultant of Sekaran Technical Services, with over 30 years of global experience in heavy transport engineering, marine operations, and infrastructure projects.

He is an Incorporated Engineer (I.Eng, UK Engineering Council), a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects (FRINA), and a member of the International Association of Marine Professionals (UK).

Anthony has led and delivered complex transport and logistics operations for high-value assets across major energy and industrial projects worldwide, combining technical precision, risk management, and operational safety. He is also a certified Marine Class Surveyor and Lead Auditor, with a strong focus on compliance and engineering integrity.

Mak Guo Shao
Civil Engineer | HSS

Mak is a structural engineer from Malaysia. He has been involved with bridges for the past 15 years. He is passionate about knowledge sharing and supporting young engineers on engineering fundamentals. The project he will share is a 3-span integral bridge with pretensioned concrete main beams and structural steel secondary beams, modelled using Midas Civil when he was still a beginner user. The bridge was built in 2018.

Teh Tzyy Wooi
Director and Founder of H&T Consulting Engineers Group

Tzyy Wooi has over 25 years of experience in the design, construction, and maintenance of bridgeworks, tunnels, and other civil engineering structures. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), and Engineers Australia (IEAust). He has led the design and independent design review of numerous major road and rail bridges, including large-scale steel viaducts, and has been involved in the design of major long-span cable-stayed bridges internationally. He holds an MSc in Bridge Engineering with Distinction from the University of Surrey, UK, and a PhD from Universiti Malaya. His expertise spans both concrete and steel bridge engineering, including superstructure and substructure design, permanent and temporary works, erection engineering, as well as independent design checking and forensic engineering assessment.
