This offline training delivers practical training in bridge engineering, building structural design, and geotechnical analysis using MIDAS solutions. Participants will gain real-world exposure to the complete design workflow from modelling and load application to analysis, design checks, and reporting with a strong focus on minor bridge structures using MIDAS CIVIL NX. The program blends core concepts with live demonstrations to enhance project-ready skills in modern engineering analysis and design. 

 

This intensive offline training program is structured to provide practical, project-oriented expertise in the analysis and design of minor bridge structures using MIDAS CIVIL NX. The workshop focuses on the complete workflow from structural idealization and modeling to analysis, load application, design verification, and report generation.

    • Model multi-storey RC buildings in MIDAS nGen
    • Generate and apply seismic loads as per applicable design codes
    • Perform Equivalent Static and Response Spectrum Analysis
    • Interpret storey drift, base shear, torsion, and irregularities
    • Design beams, columns, slabs, and shear walls
    • Implement ductile detailing provisions
    • Optimize structural systems for seismic performance
    • Generate professional design reports

    CIVIL NX Training
    • Model minor bridges using parametric tools in MIDAS CIVIL NX
    • Apply moving loads and define vehicle load cases
    • Perform construction stage analysis
    • Design RCC slab bridges and box culverts
    • Model and analyze prestressed girder bridges
    • Perform tendon profiling and prestress loss calculations
    • Extract design forces and prepare design reports
    • Validate serviceability and ultimate limit states
