Abhishek Dixit is a Geotechnical Engineer at MIDAS Research and Development Centre Pvt. Ltd., specializing in technical support and advanced analysis using MIDAS GTS-NX and FEA-NX. He holds a Ph.D. in Foundation Dynamics and Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering from Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, focusing on nonlinear spring modelling for caisson foundations, with publications in leading SCI and Scopus-indexed journals.
With over 7 years of academic and research experience, he has taught and guided students in structural and geotechnical engineering and previously served as an Assistant Professor. His technical skills span ABAQUS, OpenSees-GiD, MATLAB, Python, and advanced finite element modelling.
A recipient of the IAS Summer Research Fellowship (IIT Bombay), Best Thesis Award at iGrip Conclave 2025 (IIT Gandhinagar), and Best Paper Award at IIT Guwahati, he also serves as a reviewer for Elsevier journals. Abhishek is committed to advancing computational geomechanics and developing practical, simulation-driven tools for resilient infrastructure design.
