Hands-On Training On
Elevate your PSC Composite Bridge Design
using MIDAS CIVIL NX
    🕙 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM
📍 20th floor, Tower B at Emaar Digital Greens,  Golf Course Ext Rd, Baharampur Naya, Sector 61, Ghata, Gurugram, Haryana 122098
📝Overview

India’s infrastructure boom has accelerated the adoption of PSC I-Girder superstructures across many projects . With increasing span lengths, stringent durability requirements, construction-stage dependencies, and IRC 112/IRC 6 compliance, design teams are under pressure to deliver accurate, optimized, and submission-ready PSC girder designs in shorter timelines.

This hands-on workshop is designed to empower bridge engineers with a complete, project-ready workflow for the modelling, analysis, and design of PSC I-Girder bridges using MIDAS CIVIL NX the latest and most advanced platform for infrastructure engineering.

Participants will get step-by-step exposure to real project scenarios, including girder modelling, tendon profiling, staged construction, design checks, and reporting. The workshop also includes an exclusive session on automation using APIs and plug-ins, helping design teams eliminate repetitive work, minimize manual errors, and accelerate project deliveries in MoRTH, NHAI and other infrastructure projects.

Workshop Objectives
The goal of this hands-on training is to enable participants to master the complete design workflow of PSC Composite Girder bridges using MIDAS CIVIL NX, while also strengthening their capability in automation and digital engineering.

📌Agenda
  • 28th Feb 2026 (Sat)

🔹 Introduction to next-Gen Bridge Engineering and Automation in Roads & Highway Infrastructure Projects (20 mins).

🔹 Hands-on Training on analysis and design of a curved 2-span PSC I-girder bridge with substructure as per IRC 112 (5 hours) ➤ Geometric modelling of PSC composite girder bridge and substructure using wizard.
➤ Time dependent concrete and PSC & RC section properties definition.
➤ Construction stage analysis and report generation using API/plugin.
➤ Vehicle load generation as per IRC 6 and moving load lane definition using API/plugin.
➤ Modelling of pile foundation using API/plugin and soil-structure interaction.
➤ Automated load combination as per IRC 6.
➤ Moving load analysis & identifying governing load combination from envelope results using API/plugin.
➤ Interpretation of bridge behavior by visualizing stresses, bending moments & shear force diagrams, PSC tendon losses at each construction stages and critical vehicle positions etc.
➤ PSC composite design checks and report generation as per IRC 112 for ULS and SLS.
➤ Detailed section capacity checks for pier and pile using General Section Designer (GSD).
