Ir Dr Cheng Kim Bong
Chief Resident Engineer, AECOM

Ir Dr Cheng Kim Bong, graduated with a 1st class BSc (Hons) in civil engineering, holding an MBA and DBA, a fellow member of IEM (FIEM) and PEPC(M) in Malaysia.

He has over 50 years of experience managing significant civil engineering projects in Malaysia. He is the Chief Resident Engineer for AECOM, managing Section 7 & 8 and previously in Section 5 & 6 of the 665-kilometer ECRL project, which involve the longest tunnel in Malaysia. He was the Chief Resident Engineer in LRT3 project before transferring to ECRL project. He was also the Senior Resident Engineer for the Penang Second Bridge, and the MRT projects in Malaysia.

Gabriella Junico
Structural Engineer, DASAN Struktur Indonesia (DSSI)
Gabriella Junico is a Structural Engineer at DASAN Struktur Indonesia (DSSI), part of DASAN Structural Engineering (DSSE) in South Korea. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Parahyangan Catholic University and has five years of experience working on the design and analysis of low-middle to high-rise buildings. Since 2022, she has been using MIDAS GEN, ADS, SDS, and Design+ to support projects in Indonesia and South Korea, focusing on practical and reliable building design solutions.

Ahmad Faidhul Islam
Technical Support Engineer, MIDAS IT

Ahmad Faidhul Islam is a structural engineer with more than four years of experience in bridge and structural design, holding a Master’s in Highway and Transportation Engineering . Ahmad has previous experience with HSS Engineers & Minconsult as a bridge engineer, contributing to major infrastructure projects in Malaysia. Involved in detailed design and assessment of PSC composite bridges and box girder bridges.

Ahmad now collaborates with building and bridge engineers globally, providing expert guidance on technical queries related to structural design and MIDAS software solutions.

Technical Support Engineer, MIDAS IT

Dev holds a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from SVNIT Surat and brings valuable experience from working on a wide range of bridge and building projects. His background includes both design and on-site execution, giving him a well-rounded perspective of structural systems. Dev is particularly enthusiastic about addressing complex engineering challenges and enhancing structural safety and efficiency. He has a keen interest in applying APIs to streamline and optimize structural engineering workflows. During his time at MIDAS, he has collaborated with engineers and clients across the UK, Europe, SEA, India, the US, and Australia, gaining solid experience in working on global projects.
