MIDAS GTS NX  | Advanced Solutions for Geotechnical Analysis and Design

MIDAS GTS NX performs 2D and 3D FEM modeling with nonlinear, static, and dynamic analysis for accurate soil-structure interaction in deep excavation, foundation design, and slope stability studies. It provides specialized tools for NATM, shield tunneling, and staged excavation with time-dependent analysis to model sequential excavation, support installation, and ground deformation. GTS NX simulates groundwater flow, seepage, and soil consolidation while also performing seismic response and vibration analysis to assess stability under earthquake loading. It includes sensitivity analysis and optimization tools for cost-effective designs while offering an intuitive interface, strong technical support, and extensive documentation.

    He is a Civil Structural Engineer with a strong academic background, holding both an M.Eng. and an M.Sc. in Structural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.

    His expertise lies in the design and analysis of Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, and Composite Structures, with applications ranging from bridges and canopies to specialized buildings. He also works on structural retrofitting projects, deepening his knowledge in strengthening existing infrastructure.

    He has over 5 years of experience as a Civil Structural engineer emphasized in Underground Station Projects. He has a master’s degree in Structural engineering and is a master’s degree student in Aerospace engineering.

    She is a skilled Geotechnical Engineer with more than two years of experience in Numerical Modelling and Finite Element Analysis using Midas GTS NX. She has a Master's Degree (Hons) in Geotechnical Engineering from a reputed Indian Institute (IIT) and is proficient in using finite element methods to a range of geotechnical engineering challenges including slopes stability, foundations, excavations, tunneling, etc.

    After obtaining his MSc in Civil Engineering in Naples (Italy), he worked for more than 13 years as a Civil engineer and Technical Engineer in medium and large infrastructure projects, specializing in bridges and tunnels. Currently, he provides technical support and engineering expertise consultation for European customers related to the use of the MIDAS family software and the optimization of designers’ workflow.
