Dr. Vidyasagar Thammandra, a Chartered Structural Engineer with 25+ years of experience, has led major projects across rail, highways, and energy. His work spans HS2 Curzon Street viaducts, Woking underbridge, and concept designs for Clapham Junction footbridge. His interests focus on advanced structural assessment, design automation, and optimization.

Alex Fowler

Principal Bridges Engineer | Arcadis | Day 2

Alex, a Chartered Civil Engineer with 12 years’ experience in Civil and Rail, has contributed to many of the UK’s major projects, including HS2, Transpennine Route Upgrade, Crossrail, and Hinkley Point C. Alongside project delivery, he is Digital Lead within Arcadis’ Rail North business, driving the use of emerging technology to enhance technical capability and project outcomes.

Principal Bridge Engineer | Mott MacDonald | Day 2

Alexander, a Chartered Civil Engineer with 10+ years of experience, has led major bridge and civil structure projects across the UK, including heritage refurbishments and large-scale replacements. His recent work includes the Clifton Rail Bridge Replacement, covering both concept and detailed design. He specializes in advanced analysis, digital design, and interdisciplinary coordination, and is Practice Manager for Bridge and Civil Structures at Mott MacDonald.

Manoj Kheterpal

Manoj, with a Master’s from IIT Guwahati, has 2.5+ years of experience on bridge projects including Network Arch, Cable-Stayed, Box Culverts, and Metro structures. At Midas, he focuses on training, API feature development, and technical support.
