HONG KONG | 3D Forward Design Webinar
Introduction of M-Collection
    Hong Kong 2:00PM (HKT)
Online
Overview

In the traditional structure analysis, BIM model and structural analysis model are created separately. 3D forward design means by creating a 3D informational model, we can convert it into a finite element analysis model for structural analysis and even generate construction drawing. It stands for a significant increase on the work efficiency.

Join us for an insightful webinar where we’ll introduce our new software package, M-Collection, specifically designed for 3D forward design. In this session, we will showcase the integration and capabilities of four powerful tools: CIM, Civil NX, FEA NX, and CAD ID. Participants will witness a demonstration of modeling a PSC Box bridge, guiding you through the process from initial design to final drawing generation. This demonstration will highlight how adopting 3D forward design can significantly enhance project efficiency and foster collaboration among teams.

Speaker
  • Joseph Paul CIM Lead
    MIDAS IT, Global Technical Center

Joseph Paul M. is the CIM Team Lead at Midas Global Technical Centre, with over 7 years of experience in the infrastructure industry. He currently oversees the technical aspects of CIM across regions including Europe, the US, the Middle East, Asia, and Southeast Asia. Before joining Midas, he worked as a Bridge Design Engineer, contributing to the design of several complex infrastructure projects. In this webinar, he will discuss about bridge modelling in CIM and drawing generation using CAD ID. He will also cover the interoperability of CIM with Civil NX & FEA NX
  • Rohit Joseph Technical Support Engineer
    MIDAS IT, Global Technical Center

Rohit is a structural engineer with over two years of experience at Midas IT, where he works as a Technical Support Engineer. Before this, he worked as a structural consultant, primarily focusing on buildings and bridges. He holds a master’s degree in Structural Engineering from National Institute of Technology Surat, India. Rohit collaborates with bridge engineers worldwide, offering expert assistance with technical queries related to bridge engineering and Midas software. In this webinar, he will carry out the analysis and design of PSC Box bridge using Civil NX, and he will also perform localized detailed analysis with FEA NX.
