ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
  • Iancu Ionut | Structural Engineer, SDC Proiect Holding a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Technical University of Cluj Napoca (Romania), currently PhD candidate.

    Since joining SDC Proiect in 2019, he has designed a diverse array of structures, including residential and office buildings, hospital facilities, and large sports halls. In the past year, he has increasingly relied on Midas Gen and Midas GTS NX for advanced structural analysis.
  • Deak Norbert | Structural Engineer, SDC Proiect Holding a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Technical University of Cluj Napoca (Romania).
    Before joining SDC Proiect, he primarily focused on designing industrial precast concrete buildings and steel structures. After joining SDC Proiect in 2021, he gained valuable experience in designing concrete structures, including residential buildings, hotels, and sports halls. At the beginning of this year, he began utilizing Midas Gen for structural analysis, further enhancing his proficiency in advanced design techniques.
  • Mihai Predescu | Director, Integrated Road Solutions Mihai Predescu is able to manage complex issues related to bridge project based on his professional experience for more than 25 years on various types of bridges all over the Romania.
  • Alessandro Laurenza | Senior Technical Engineer, MIDAS IT Europe After obtaining his MSc in Civil Engineering in Naples(Italy), he worked for more than 12 years as a Civil engineer and Technical Engineer in medium and large infrastructure projects in bridges and tunnels. Currently, he provides technical expertise consultation for European customers in use of MIDAS software and the optimization for designer’ workflow.
