Abhishek Dixit is a Geotechnical Engineer in the Technical Support Team at MIDAS Research and Development Centre Pvt. Ltd., where he provides advanced technical assistance and engineering solutions for the MIDAS suite of geotechnical analysis software GTS NX and FEA NX. His expertise spans foundation dynamics, computational geomechanics, and seismic soil–structure interaction, bridging the gap between geotechnical design principles and simulation-driven analysis.He holds a Ph.D. in Foundation Dynamics and Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering from Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Delhi NCR, where his research focused on developing a simplified nonlinear spring model that incorporates soil and interface nonlinearity for predicting the lateral, cyclic, and seismic response of caisson foundations. His doctoral work, has resulted in several SCI and Scopus-indexed publications, including papers in the ASCE International Journal of Geomechanics and Springer’s Indian Geotechnical Journal.
