    In this hands-on training session, participants will gain in-depth knowledge on evaluating the safety factor of slope stability through both 2D and 3D analysis using GTS NX. The session will focus on the practical application of cut-off excavation and soil nailing techniques for reinforced slope stability checks.

     

    Attendees will learn essential skills, including modeling, mesh generation, boundary condition setup, construction stage definition, and analysis case creation, culminating in the verification and interpretation of results.

    This training will provide engineers with the tools and methodologies to conduct reliable and accurate slope stability assessments, applicable to real-world geotechnical projects.

    ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
    • Choi, Youngho MIDAS GEOTECH

      CHOI YH holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering. He has approximately five years of experience in consultancy, focusing on analysis and design as a geotechnical engineer in Singapore.

      He has been with MIDAS IT since 2018, serving as a consultant and product development planner for geotechnical programs like GTS NX. Currently, he is part of the MIDAS GEOTECH team, working as a business manager and trainer for GTS NX users worldwide.
