Understanding SSI (Soil-Structure Interaction) is essential for reliable structural analysis, yet many engineers encounter difficulties when handling model exchange, defining interaction conditions, and achieving stable convergence between structural and geotechnical models.
- In this webinar, we will explore an efficient SSI workflow with MIDAS Gen NX, GTS NX, and NX Interact, covering the overall process from model integration and interaction configuration to result verification through a hands-on example.

Description
Soil-Structure Interaction, or SSI, plays an important role in accurately evaluating the behavior of structures supported by or embedded in the ground. However, engineers often face challenges when connecting structural models with geotechnical analysis environments, especially when model transfer, interaction setup, convergence, and result interpretation are involved.
In this webinar, we will introduce the fundamental concept of SSI and demonstrate a practical workflow using MIDAS Gen NX, GTS NX, and NX Interact. Participants will learn how to import a structural model from Gen NX into GTS NX, define the interaction between the structure and the surrounding ground, and review the analysis results with a focus on convergence and engineering interpretation.
Through a live demonstration, this session will provide engineers with a clear understanding of how to set up and verify an SSI model efficiently using the MIDAS NX workflow.

Key Points
