Join MIDAS Academy this spring for two specialized training sessions in Romania, designed for structural engineers and infrastructure professionals seeking hands-on, real-world applications of advanced analysis and design tools.

The Academy will cover two key areas of modern engineering practice:

In Bucharest (April 28th), the focus will be on seismic assessment and retrofit strategies for existing reinforced concrete structures. Using a real hospital building case, participants will explore how to evaluate structural performance under seismic loads, apply nonlinear analysis techniques, and develop retrofit solutions that ensure both life safety and post-earthquake operational continuity—critical for healthcare infrastructure.

In Cluj-Napoca (May 5th), the training shifts to bridge engineering, featuring the complete design and analysis workflow of a real pedestrian bridge project. Attendees will gain practical experience in high-fidelity 3D modeling, advanced dynamic analysis for pedestrian comfort, and applying Eurocode-compliant design principles within a local project context.
