✏️Session Overview

Expert-Led FEA NX Webinar Series: Simulate Cracks in Reinforced Concrete Piers with Real-World Loads
This session introduces a complete 3D nonlinear workflow for analyzing cracks in a reinforced concrete bridge pier using FEA NX. From importing Parasolid geometry to defining tendons, rebar, and smeared crack material models. Learn how to build and analyze realistic pier models under superstructure reactions and braking forces.

This session walks you through a complete nonlinear static analysis of a reinforced concrete bridge pier using MIDAS FEA NX. You will learn how to import a 3D Parasolid model, define materials such as smeared cracking concrete and prestressing tendons, model longitudinal and transverse rebars, and apply real-world loads including braking force and prestress. The session concludes with interpretation of 3D crack results.
