📜Overview

Advancing Bridge Design through BIM & Automation

Bridges are at the heart of modern infrastructure, yet their design demands constant innovation to meet regional standards, project complexities, and the growing need for efficiency. Today, digital workflows and BIM integration are transforming how engineers approach bridge projects—reducing design time, improving accuracy, and enabling seamless collaboration across disciplines.

To support this transformation, 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐒 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬 2025 𝐭𝐨 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠 𝐨𝐧 23𝐫𝐝–24𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 a premier two-day gathering of bridge engineers, BIM specialists, consultants, and project leaders.

The symposium will highlight real-world case studies of landmark bridge projects in South Africa, design best practices aligned with TMH-7 standards, and strategies for overcoming regional challenges through advanced engineering solutions. Attendees will also explore how automation and BIM-integrated processes are reshaping the future of bridge delivery.

Complementing the symposium is a 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧, where participants will work directly with MIDAS experts to experience the complete end-to-end workflow—from concept and analysis to BIM modelling, BOQ, and deliverables.

By uniting thought leadership with practical application, Bridges 2025 will empower engineers to embrace the future of digital bridge design with confidence, efficiency, and innovation.
