    📝 Overview
Long-span prestressed portal frame piers are increasingly adopted where conventional bridge substructures become impractical due to roadway geometry, clearance requirements, or architectural considerations.

This webinar presents a real-world engineering case study demonstrating the complete structural analysis workflow using CIVIL NX. Participants will explore how portal frame bridge piers behave under gravity, prestressing, temperature, wind, and construction stages, along with practical modelling techniques and interpretation of analysis results.

The session emphasizes engineering judgement rather than software operation alone, enabling designers to develop a deeper understanding of the behaviour of complex bridge substructures and make informed engineering decisions.
    01
    Structural Behaviour
Understand the load path and structural response of long-span prestressed portal frame bridge piers under gravity, prestressing, temperature, wind, and other critical actions.
