    Ir Prof. Francis T.K. Au Asia Infrastructure Solutions; and University of Hong Kong

    Ir Prof. Francis Au has over 40 years of experience spanning both the industry and academia. He joined the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 1988 after having 7 years of practical experience in the industry. He has been engaged in research primarily in bridge engineering and concrete structures. Before his retirement from full-time service at HKU in 2023, he was Professor and Head of Department of Civil Engineering. He joined Asia Infrastructure Solutions in 2023 as Head of AIS Academy and Technical Advisor.

    Jongyoung (John) Song, Ph.D., P.E. Bridge Engineer | Long-Span Bridges | Transportation | AECOM

    Bridge and structures expert with over 25 years of experience in the technical management of major infrastructure projects. Skilled in design and construction management, design coordination, and construction engineering, with deep expertise in long-span bridges, precast segmental bridges, and practical BIM applications. 

  • Marcell Tuska
    Marcell Tuska Associate, Aurecon

    Marcell is a Bridge Engineer based in Hong Kong with 9 years of experience in the realm of Bridges and Computational Design. He has worked on projects in Europe and the Asia Pacific. Most notable projects involvements where Marcell played a key role both as a Bridge Engineer and a Computational Designer are the Jurong Region Line in Singapore, Northern Pathway and O Mahurangi Penlink projects in Auckland, New Zealand.

  • Cindy Choi
    Cindy Choi Associate, Aurecon

    Cindy has over 9 years of experience in structural design of bridges and civil structures in Hong Kong and overseas. Her experience includes a wide variety of structures, including steel trusses, composite bridge, precast segmental viaducts and underground structures. She was the designer of the first two steel bridges erected using rotary method in Hong Kong. She was also involved in the reference design of Tuen Mun River Bridge which was initially proposed as the first extradosed bridge locally.

    Structural technician at Midas India. He has over 2.5 years of design experience in different types of structures ( PSC Integral Bridge, Box culvert, Residential and commercial building). He pursued his master's degree from IIT Roorkee and is experienced in handling complex technical issues related to bridges.
