ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
  • Dr. Ray Richard Paul

    Professor Ray is a faculty member at Széchenyi István University in Hungary, specializing in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering. After receiving his degrees from the University of Michigan, USA, his research focuses on finite element modeling (FEM) for various problems, including piles, soil-structure interaction, seismic design, and machine learning applications.

  • Mr. JaeSeok Yang Principal Geotechnical Consultant

    JaeSeok Yang is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with over 20 years of experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) consultancy. He joined MIDAS IT in 2004. Since 2011, he has served as an International Course Coordinator, delivering lectures and workshops on numerical analysis across the UK, Europe, USA, and Asia.
