DCCD’s expertise covers civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, environmental engineering, and construction management. It is a member of the Consulting Engineers Council of the Philippines (CECOPHIL) and is registered with both the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank (WB)

Internship Duration: Depends on the requirement from the school
Role Summary
The Structural Engineering Intern will assist the engineering team in the analysis, design, and documentation of structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects. This role provides hands-on experience in structural calculations, drafting, and field observation under the guidance of licensed engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Support drafting and modeling using AutoCAD, Revit, or other structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD, MIDAS).
- Perform basic load calculations and material take-offs under supervision.
- Participate in site inspections, field surveys, and construction monitoring.
- Compile and organize project documentation, reports, and technical data.
- Conduct research on materials, building codes, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate project execution.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field,
- Familiarity with structural analysis concepts and construction materials.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting/modeling software (a plus).
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Internship is a combination of office and online work.

Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Construction, or related Engineering field.
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings, construction methods, and safety practices.
- Proficient in MS Office; basic AutoCAD skills a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Willing to work on-site under varying field conditions.
