Hussein, Ph.D., P.E. is a Senior Bridge Engineer and Project Manager at GFT with over 20 years of combined academic and industry experience in the analysis, design, and rehabilitation of complex bridge structures. He specializes in nonlinear structural behavior, advanced 3D finite element modeling, and the integration of deterioration effects in load rating analyses.

    Dr. Hussein earned his PhD from Ohio University with a focus on ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) joints and has authored over 60 publications in national and international journals. He currently leads bridge design and load rating efforts across Ohio, applying cutting-edge analysis tools and research to deliver practical, innovative solutions in structural engineering.
  • Prajwol Hada Associate Bridge Designer | GFT Prajwol Hada is an Associate Bridge Designer at GFT with 5 years of experience in structural analysis, design, and modeling of bridges and buildings. He received his master’s degree in civil engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering from the University of Toledo. His core expertise includes finite element modeling, structural analysis, and bridge load rating and design.
