The training will focus on the development of a post-tensioned girder and slab bridge, covering aspects such as: definition of materials, sections, and bridge geometry; construction stages considering both simple and composite section conditions; evaluation of time-dependent effects; and moving load assignment according to the Brazilian code
The hands-on training session is to provide participants with the opportunity to model complete structures from start to finish using MIDAS software. Guided step by step by MIDAS experts, engineers will apply the concepts discussed in the seminar to realistic scenarios inspired by projects in Brazil, following the full workflow from modelling to analysis.
