    Er. Kamal Parekh is a seasoned Structural Designer and Project Manager with extensive expertise in the repair, rehabilitation, and retrofitting of RCC and steel structures. He serves as an empaneled consultant for Surat Municipal Corporation, Gujarat State Police Housing Corporation, PIU-Government of Gujarat, and Reliance Industries, Jamnagar Refinery.

    He has contributed to several landmark projects across Gujarat, including healthcare, institutional, industrial, and public infrastructure developments. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a key role in delivering a 1,800-bed treatment facility in Surat within just 60 days.

    A passionate academician and industry professional, he is committed to advancing structural engineering practices and mentoring the next generation of engineers to create safer and more resilient structures.

    Dr. Pulkit Velani
    Senior Technical Support Engineer | MIDAS IT
    Dr. Pulkit Velani is the Specification Engineer at Midas India, specializing in Structural and Earthquake Engineering. He holds a PhD and an MS by Research in Civil Engineering from IIIT-Hyderabad. His expertise includes the analysis and design of reinforced concrete tall buildings, structural health monitoring, and city-scale earthquake risk assessment. Dr. Velani has played a key role in the integration of Indian design standards, including IS 16700:2023 and IS 18168:2023 in midas GEN. He is actively involved in industry–academia collaboration, seismic mitigation efforts, and the assessment and retrofitting of structures. Committed to knowledge sharing and technical excellence, Dr. Velani leads teams in delivering innovative solutions to the engineering community.
