    OVERVIEW
Tailings dams present complex geotechnical challenges involving slope stability, groundwater conditions, deformation, and static liquefaction. Understanding these factors is essential for evaluating potential failure mechanisms and ensuring reliable stability assessments.

This webinar will demonstrate a practical 3D FEM workflow in MIDAS GTS NX, covering Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) modelling, Strength Reduction Analysis, NorSand material modelling, and the interpretation of key analysis results.

Participants will gain practical insights into modelling tailings dams, evaluating stability and deformation, understanding critical failure mechanisms, and using numerical analysis to support informed geotechnical stability assessments.
