Overview

🏗️ Unlock Versatility in Structural Design with MIDAS Gen 🏗️

Are you juggling multiple software tools to handle different types of building structures? You're not alone.
Join us for a focused technical webinar introducing MIDAS Gen, our powerful FEM-based building design software that brings everything together in a single, streamlined platform.

🔍 What to Expect

In this session, we’ll explore how MIDAS Gen can simplify your structural workflow by handling:

1. High-rise Buildings

2. Steel Warehouses

3. BRB (Buckling-Restrained Brace) Systems

From reinforced concrete to steel, and from regular to highly complex geometry, MIDAS Gen provides a comprehensive design environment for all structure types — all within one tool.

You’ll see 3real project models in action — showcasing how MIDAS Gen can support practical design across different structure types with clarity and depth.

🎯 Why Attend

Stop switching tools: MIDAS Gen is your all-in-one solution for diverse structural designs.

Go beyond the basics: Perform nonlinear analysis, pushover, and staged construction simulations.

No black box: Access detailed calculation reports and transparent design checks.

Whether you're new to MIDAS or looking to deepen your existing knowledge, this session is the perfect opportunity to discover the potential of our building software.

⏱️ Workflow Optimization Seekers
Tired of switching between software? Learn how to consolidate your tools without losing capability.

📏 Code-Conscious Designers
Ensure compliance and transparency with detailed design reports and global code support.

📉 Advanced Analysis Practitioners
If your work involves nonlinear behavior, staged construction, or seismic loading, MIDAS Gen is built for you.

🔄 Software Explorers & Evaluators
Currently using other FEM platforms? Discover how MIDAS Gen offers more flexibility in one environment.

What You’ll Discover

1. Truss Modeling Made Easy

Save time geometrically when modeling your structure with our MIDAS Gen truss wizards, automatically generating different element types for top and bottom chords, vertical, and diagonal elements quickly and easily.

2. Precise Eccentricity Simulation

Accurately simulate eccentricities in your model by automatically calculating the center of mass and center of stiffness. Additionally, midas Gen allows you to automatically calculate accidental eccentricity based on a percentage of the plan dimension of each level, regardless of its geometry.

3. Multi-Material Design & Transparent Reporting

midas Gen offers various design codes that allow you to review the strength of structural elements regardless of material combinations such as steel and concrete. The program also provides detailed design reports for ultimate limit state and serviceability checks, ensuring structural safety and design transparency.
