📝Overview

Mastering MIDAS GEN is a focused webinar series for structural and bridge engineers seeking practical, code-compliant workflows using MIDAS GEN. Across six technical sessions, we cover modelling, seismic and wind loading, design of RC and steel members, foundation design, and productivity tips — all aligned with Indian Standards (IS 1893, IS 875, IS 456, IS 13920, etc.). Each session includes a hands-on tutorial to help you apply concepts directly to your projects.

👨🏻‍💻 Who should attend?

🔹Structural engineers and designers working on RC and steel structures
🔹Project leads wanting code-compliant MIDAS GEN workflows
🔹BIM/CAD coordinators and engineering students seeking practical MIDAS GEN skills

What you will learn?

✅Best practices for modelling buildings in MIDAS GEN (rigid and semi-rigid approaches)
✅How to apply wind and seismic loads per IS codes and interpret results
✅Design and ductile detailing for RC members to IS 456 & IS 13920
✅Foundation modelling and design workflows (isolated, combined, raft, pile-raft)
✅Efficient steel warehouse modelling and optimization techniques
✅Tips, Q&A and upcoming MIDAS GEN developments
